DKCC organizes meeting in honour of Indira Gandhi

Mangalore, Oct 31: Bantwal MLA Ramanath Rai and other Congress leaders paid their respects to former prime minister of India Indira Gandhi at the office of Dakshina Kannada Congress Committee (DKCC) on Oct 31, Sunday.

Rai said that Indira Gandhi initiated public financial institutions, which have made the country’s economy resilient and stable. Her charismatic personality has impacted not only her own country, but also the rest of the world, he added.

Congress leaders Ivan D’Souza and Moideen Bawa were also present.
