Mangalore, Dec 22, 2011: Shrinivas Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre and Shrinivas Hospital will be inaugurated at Shrinivas Nagar in Mukka in Suratkal on Dec 25 Sunday.
Dr. Shriram Aithal, the executive director of Shrinivas Hospital, told reporters at a press meet held in Press Club today that the new hospital will be inaugurated by D. V. Sadananda Gowda, the chief minister of Karnataka, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon in the presence of Pejawar Mutt Seer Shri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji.
The chief guests of the event will be DK District-in-charge Minister Krishna J. Palemar, Udupi District-in-charge Minister Dr. V. S. Acharya, AICC General Secretary Vinaya Kumar Sorake, and Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Dr. Shriprakash.
The guests of honor will be Indian Overseas Bank Chairman M. Narendra, Ex Chairman of Maharashtra Bank Allen C. Pereira, Corporation Bank Executive Director Narendra Singh, and Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University Prof. T. C. Shivashankar Murthy.
Further, Dr. Aithal said that the hospital has made a mark for providing efficient and prompt healthcare services to the public. The recently launched rural health centre in Lingappayya Kaadu near Mulky has already reached out to poor villagers, he said. Since the hospital employs devoted personnel to cater to the requirements of poor as well as elite patients, it aims to become a centre of excellence, providing efficient and prompt service with a humane touch, he said.
