Dakshina Kannada MP Capt. Brijesh Chowta takes oath in the name of Tulunad deities

Mangaluru, June 25, 2024: Capt. Brijesh Chowta, the newly elected MP from Dakshina Kannada constituency took oath on the first day of the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha held on June 24, Monday. Chowta took oath in the name of deities of Tulunad.

Soon after taking oath he also thanked all those present in Tulu language by saying “Matheregla Solmelu.”

Later in the day he visited the BJP Headquarters in New Delhi and offered tributes to the statues of Shyam Prasad Mukherjee and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.
