Daylight burglary in Kundapur

Kundapur, October 25, 2024: A broad daylight burglary has been reported from a house at Hangalur on the outskirts of Kundapur town on Thursday.

The theft took place in the house of Jagadish Chandra Nair. Nair lived in the house with his wife and daughter. Both Nair and his wife who worked in a printing press at Kundapur had come home for lunch on Thursday and later returned for work. However when Nair’s wife brought her daughter back home from school in the evening, she realized that there was a burglary. The thieves had broken open the back door of the house to gain entry. The theft reportedly took place in the afternoon after the couple left home.

The value of the stolen goods is yet to be known. Kundapur police have registered a case.
