Disabled person dies in lorry-scooter collision

Puttur, July 24, 2024: A disabled person who was riding a scooter lost his life after a lorry collided with his vehicle at Manjalpadpu on the Maani-Mysuru NH on Tuesday night.

The deceased is Shivaram Naika (50) of Mittur. The lorry which was heading towards Mangaluru hit the three-wheeler scooter of Shivaram. The impact of the collision was such that Shivaram fell on the road and died.

Puttur Traffic police have registered a case.
