Dr Murali Mohan Choontaru’s book bags Science and Technology Academy Award

Mangaluru, May 31, 2019: The Book "Sanjeevini’’ Bhaaga 2- Arogya Margadarshi  by eminent  Dental Surgeon Dr Murali Mohan Choontaru has  been selected for the Best Book Award in Medical Literature category for the year 2018, given by the Karnataka Science and Technology Academy. The Award presentation ceremony will be held  at the Academy Office at Banashankeri in Bengaluru in July last week. The Award carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and a citation.

 

Dr Murali Mohan Choontaru who is also the District Commandant of Home Guards since 2015 is presently serving as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Tejaswini Hospital.

 He has already  written several books including "Raktadaana Jeevadaana, Kachaguili, Suraksha Dantha Arogya Margadarshi, Sanjeevini Bhaaga-1,  Chitranna, 32 Dantha Kathegalu,  Arivu and Sangaathi  Jwara Samhithe.
