Dr. Shailesh Prabhu N. Awarded PhD

Mangaluru, March 1, 2025: On February 11, 2025, Dr. Shailesh Prabhu N. successfully completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marketing Management. He pursued his PhD studies at NITK Surathkal under the guidance of Prof. Ritangali Majumdar. His research, titled "Towards a Sustainable Future: Understanding Mobile Phone Disposal Behavior in Karnataka," focused on sustainable marketing and consumer behavior, providing extensive insights into the field.

Dr. Shailesh holds an MBA degree from the prestigious IBS Hyderabad and has also cleared the UGC-NET examination. In 2024, as part of the SPARK Research Project, he visited the Essex Business School, UK.

He is the beloved son of Venkatesh Prabhu N. and Varalakshmi Prabhu N. from Neeleshwar, Kasaragod. He is also the nephew of Mr. S.S. Nayak, former Chairman of ICAI Mangaluru, and Mr. Narendra Nayak, Chairman of Expert, a renowned educational institution in Mangaluru.
