Mangaluru, July 24, 2024: Prof. (Dr.) U.S. Krishna Nayak, Principal and Dean of A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences and Director of Nayak’s Dental Speciality Clinic & Orthodontic Centre, has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Orthodontic Society. This prestigious honor highlights Dr. Nayak’s outstanding contributions to the fields of Orthodontics and Dentistry, recognizing his decades-long dedication to advancing dental sciences in India and beyond.

Dr. Nayak’s illustrious career includes serving as the Past President of the Indian Orthodontic Society, the Indian Dental Association Head Office, and the International College of Dentists (Section VI). His leadership roles have significantly influenced the development of orthodontic practices and policies, setting a benchmark for future dental professionals.

In addition to the Lifetime Achievement Award, Dr. Nayak has been recognized with numerous accolades, including international fellowships and the Karnataka State Kannada Rajyotsava Award. His contributions have also been acknowledged with the Dr. Keki Mistry Scroll of Honour and the Excellence in Dental Leadership Award 2020 in Ahmedabad.
