Driver fined for dumping garbage on roadside at Padil Junction

Mangaluru, Jan 11, 2024: A vehicle driver who  was dumping garbage on the roadside near Padil Junction was caught and penalized on January 10, Wednesday.

 

It is learnt, this particular driver used to often dump wastes from Talapady at Padil Junction. Gathering information, MCC officials rushed to the spot and slapped a penalty of Rs 5000 on him.

The driver was let off with a warning that the penalty amount would be doubled if he was found dumping garbage again.
