Drunk man falls into drain near Pumpwell, rescued by cops

Mangaluru, July 26, 2024: A man who fell into a drain under the influence of alcohol near Pumpwell on Friday morning, was rescued by the traffic police.

The drain was nearly six to seven feet deep and was overflowing due to heavy rains. The police who came to know that the man fell into the drain rushed to the spot and rescued him with the help of the public.

Tippeswamy, Head constable of Traffic Police Station and police personnel Wilson Fernandes were part of the rescue operation.
