Elderly man dies after accidentally consuming pesticide

Kundapur, September 11, 2024: An elderly man died after he accidentally consumed  pesticide instead of a syrup for treatment of his knee pain at his house at Madamakki.

The deceased is Shivaram (74). It is learnt Shivaram faced from vision problem and on August 24 fell ill after he consumed pesticide instead of his medicine. He was rushed to the hospital, but died on September 8.

Amasebail police have registered a case.
