Electricity meter explodes in factory at Baikampady Industrial Area

Mangaluru, April 17, 2023: The electricity meter of a factory at Baikampady Industrial Area exploded due to high voltage resulting in fire on April 16, Sunday night.

 

The mishap took place at Madhuban Graphics. The MESCOM immediately snapped power connection in the area. Workers of nearby factories rushed to the spot and helped in  controlling  the fire. Later fire service personnel too rushed to the place and doused the fire.

The loss has been estimated at Rs 10 lakhs.
