Electricity tester turns on at Kundapur flyover! Problem rectified by MESCOM

Kundapur, Aug 24, 2022: A video showing an electric tester turning on while placed on the flyover  in  Kundapur town has gone viral while also causing apprehensions among the public.

 

It may be recalled here that electricity connection was provided to the streetlights  here recently after much insistence from the locals.

The  flyover construction was completed by the Navayuga Construction recently after much delay.

After the video of the tester turning on went viral, MESCOM authorities visited the spot, snapped electricity connection and averted any mishap.

Officials informed that a technical issue in wiring had led to this issue. The streetlight maintenance is the task of Navayuga company and they have been asked to immediately do the needful, informed officials.
