Energy Minister K J George visits Udupi Krishna Mutt, Jamia Masjid, Mother of Sorrows Church

Mangaluru, Feb 06, 2024: State Energy Minister K J George visited the Sri Krishna Mutt of Udupi, Jamia Masjid and Mother of Sorrows Church on Tuesday.

 

 

 

At Udupi Krishna Mutt, the minister offered prayers to Lord Krishna. Later he met Paryaya Puttige seer Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji and sought his blessings. The Swamiji spoke on his Paryaya projects and blessed the Minister by presenting a copy of Bhagavadgita to him.

The Junior Paryaya seer Sri Sushreendra Theertha Swamiji, former minister Vinaykumar Sorake, MLC Manjunath Bhandari and others were present.

The minister later visited the Jamia Masjid of Udupi where Khatib Maulana Abdurasheed Nadi offered Duva. Mosque Committee President Riyaz Ahmed was present among others.

The Minister then visited the Bishop House of Udupi and Mother of Sorrows Church. The Minister was felicitated on the occasion in the presence of the Bishop Dr Gerald Isac Lobo.
