Ex-Kundapur MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty bids good bye to BJP

Kundapur, Dec 29,2012: Halady Srinivas Shetty, the former MLA  of Kundapur, has finally bid a good bye to the BJP. He  has tendered his resignation to the primary membership of the party on December 28, Friday.

 

Shetty had earlier resigned from his legislatorship, soon after the Jagadish Shettar government took charge, deeply hurt by what was described as a major insult to him by declining him a cabinet berth in the Shettar government, even after being invited to Bangalore for the oath taking ceremony.     

                                                 
Though since then, several BJP leaders had tried to persuade Shetty to remain in the BJP, he has now finally decided to call it quits.  Shetty has said he would decide on his next move  after duly taking into confidence the voters of his constituency as well as his loyalists and well wishers.
