Fake ED raid case: Missing mobile phones found in house during probe

Vittal, January 8, 2025: As investigations continue with regard to the case wherein a gang impersonating as ED officials looted Rs 30 lakhs from the residence of entrepreneur Sulaiman Haji near Bolantur, police have recovered the mobile phones of the family members.

It was alleged in the complaint that the accused had snatched five mobile phones of the family members and had taken it away. However police during investigations found the mobile phones on the third floor of the house. It is learnt they broke the SIM cards and then threw the phones on the third floor of the house before escaping.
