Fire mishap in lodge room at Bunder

Mangaluru, April 7, 2025: A fire mishap was reported from the room of a lodge in the Bunder area on Sunday.

A person had booked a room on the second floor of the lodge. On Sunday afternoon he had locked the room and had gone out when fire was noticed. When the hotel staff opened the door, all furniture including TV in the room were found destroyed in the fire. A short circuit in the AC is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
