Fishing boat hits rock near Kaup; all five fishermen on board rescued

Malpe, Jan 06, 2023: A fisheries boat which hit a rock mid sea was damaged at around eight nautical miles off the Kaup coast. All five fishermen on board have been rescued.

 

The boat named Swarnagowri had ventured into fishing from Malpe on December 30. The mishap took place on January 3. The fishermen from another nearby  boat helped in the rescue operation.
