Mangaluru, Jan 19, 2025: The third edition of the Street Food Fiesta began in Mangaluru on Saturday, drawing food enthusiasts to the flanks of arterial roads in Lalbagh, Mannagudda, and Lady Hill. Organized by Kudla Samskritika Prathisthana, the festival will run until January 22.
The event was inaugurated by Dolly Chaiwala (Sunil Patil) from Nagpur, a celebrity known for his unique tea-making style and his claim to fame after selling tea to Bill Gates. He marked the occasion by preparing tea for the attendees.
Organizers expressed their excitement over the enthusiastic turnout on the opening day. They announced that the festival would feature evening cultural programs every day, along with a traditional food festival showcasing the diverse culinary heritage of Tulunadu, Karnataka, and other parts of the country.
Prominent personalities, including Mangaluru City South MLA D. Vedavyasa Kamath, Mayor Manoj Kumar, and former MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, graced the inauguration ceremony.
