Forest guard on night duty collapses to death

Sullia, December 9, 2024: A Forest guard collapsed to death while on duty at Jalsur Forest Check post on Saturday night.

The deceased is Sadashiva Gowda (58) of Delampady. He was on night duty on Saturday. When his duty hours were about to end, he collapsed and died while being rushed to the hospital. He was working at Jalsur since seven years and was to retire from service in 2025.
