Former parish priest Fr Victor Pinto passes away

Mangaluru, July 05, 2022: Retired priest of Mangaluru Diocese Fr Victor A Pinto passed away on July 5, Tuesday. He was 88 years old and was hospitalised a week ago.

Fr Victor who hailed from Kirem was the son of Joseph Pinto and Emilia Noronha. He had  served as  Assistant Parish Priest in Milagres, Urwa and Belthangady Parishes and as Parish Priest of Kateel, Suratkal and Mulki Parishes. He had also served as Professor at St Joseph’s Seminary and  as Director of Pastoral Institute, Mangala Jyothi.

Fr Victor was staying at his hometown Kirem since his retirement in 2009.
