Four injured including child in car collision near Belthangady

Belthangady, February 2, 2025: In a tragic road accident near Pilya, Aladangadi, four individuals, including a child, sustained injuries following a collision between Honda car and Maruthi Eeco on Sunday evening.

The accident occurred near the entrance of the Navara Mahalingeshwara Temple at Golikatte, Pilya. According to reports, a car traveling from Udupi collided head-on with another vehicle en route to Karkala from Belthangady.

The force of the impact left four occupants of the Eco car injured, with two individuals reportedly in serious condition. Prompt assistance from local residents helped in swiftly transporting the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Venur police officials arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and conducted a thorough inspection. As of now, the identities of the injured parties have not been confirmed.
