Fr Valerian Mendonca, Chief Priest of Kalianpur Milagres Cathedral passes away

Udupi, July 4, 2024: Fr Valerian Mendonca, Chief Priest of Milagres Cathedral, Kalianpur passed away on July 3, Wednesday evening due to heart attack. He was 75 years old.

 Hailing from Pilar in Shirva, Fr Valerian was ordained priest on May 7, 1976. He  was a post graduate in English and had a Diploma in Communications apart from BTh from Urban University, Rome. He had served as Assistant Director of St Antony’s Ashram, Jeppu and as Assistant Priest in Vamanjoor church. He was also part of the administration of Talooru Church and Udupi Mother of Sorrows Church.
