Gang war: Six accused remanded to 14 days judicial custody

Udupi, May 28, 2024: The four men arrested in connection with the recent gang war right on the middle of the Highway at Kunjibettu on the Udupi-Manipal Road, have been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody for 14 days.

 

The police had taken suo moto cognizance of the incident based on videos that had gone viral on social media.

Those arrested are Ashik, Rakeeb, Shareef, Majeed and Alfas. Meanwhile, police have also reportedly initiated action against a private hospital in Padubidri which treated the injured accused without informing the police.
