Gangolli: Couple arrested for stealing jewellery

Gangolli, January 23, 2025: Gangolli police have arrested a couple wanted in a theft case within seven hours of a house burglary.

Those arrested are Vinayaka (41) and his wife Prameela (30). The two have been accused of stealing gold worth Rs 2 lakhs from a house near Trasi Beach on January 21.

The accused were arrested the same night and the stolen jewels as well as a two-wheeler used by the couple has been seized.

The arrested couple have been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
