Goods train catches fire near Bijoor railway station

Uppunda, Oct 10, 2023: A goods train which was transporting lorries laden with eatables, accidentally caught fire near the Bijoor Railway Station on October 10, Tuesday morning. The train was heading towards Suratkal from Mumbai when the mishap took place.

 

The train staff who noticed the fire immediately stopped the train and tried to put out the fire. Later fire tender vehicles from Byndoor rushed to the spot and doused the fire. The eatables in the lorry have been partially damaged in the fire.
