Goods vehicle gets stuck in iron guard of old Panemangalore bridge

Bantwal, December 21, 2024: A goods vehicle got stuck in the iron guard that was put up to prevent movement of vehicles on the old Panemangalore bridge on Saturday morning. Heavy vehicles are banned on the bridge as a precautionary measure.

However on Saturday morning, a goods vehicle laden with masala powder product, tried to pass through the iron guard and got stuck in it.

The driver luckily was not hurt. However the incident disrupted traffic on the bridge and the vehicle that got stuck in the iron guard was removed after great struggle.
