Grant Tulu its due recognition, protestors urge in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Oct 11, 2022: A protest was organised in front of the Mini Vidhana Saudha on October 10, Monday demanding declaration of Tulu as an official language of the state. An organisation named "Appe Baase Porambaata Koota, Tulunadu," organised this protest.

 

Tulu theatrical personality Vijay Kumar Kodialbail who participated in the protest, stressed the need for Tulu to get its due status.  When elections near there comes an assurance of efforts to include Tulu in the 8th schedule of the Constitution and then the assurance fades away, he lamented.

Tulu activist Sudarshan, Tulu theatre personality Devadas Kapikad, activist Dilraj Alva and others took part in the protest.
