Gurupur: 2 injured as lorry rams into bus shelter

Mangaluru, February 8, 2025: Two persons were injured after a lorry laden with soil rammed into a bus shelter and a nearby Shanishwara Pooja Samithi office at Gurupur junction on Friday afternoon. The  Samithi office and bus shelter were also damaged in the mishap.

Though the lorry driver fled the scene of the mishap with his vehicle, locals managed to intercept the lorry at Alaigudde by chasing it.

Bajpe police are investigating the case.
