Health officer found dead in toilet of home; heart attack suspected

Kasargod, June 19, 2024: A health officer was found dead in the toilet of his residence on June 18, Tuesday evening.

The deceased is Manoj (45). He was serving at the Manjeshwar Block Panchayat Family Welfare Centre. He was staying at a housing complex near the SIT school in Manjeshwar. Neighbours who sensed foul smell emanating from the house alerted the police who upon breaking open the door found the officer dead in the bathroom. It is suspected that he died of a heart attack two days ago.
