Heavy rain: Holiday declared for schools and PU colleges on Tuesday

Mangaluru, July 24, 2023: With rain continuing to lash various parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, the respective deputy commissioners as a precautionary measure has declared holiday for schools and pre-university colleges on Tuesday, July 25.

 

In addition, instructions are given for public to safeguard against dangers that may arise due to continuous rains. Parents are instructed to prevent their children from going near low lying areas filled with water, ponds, river banks and beaches.

Holiday has been declared for Anganwadis, primary and high schools, pre university colleges, government, aided and unaided private schools.
