Heavy rains: Darpana Theertha river at Adi Subrahmanya overflows

Subrahmanya, October-20, 2024: Heavy rains in and around Kukke Subrahmanya on Sunday afternoon resulted in the overflowing of the Darpana Theertha river of Subrahmanya.’

The rain which lasted for nearly an hour was accompanied by thunder and lightning and the river was in spate for around 10 to 15 minutes and even entered the outer yards of Adi Subrahmanya shrine and later receded.

Rain water also entered some shops in Adi Subrahmanya.
