Heavy rains result in severe waterlogging in Bajal underpass

Mangaluru, June 26, 2024: The heavy rain that has been lashing the city since the past few day̧s has resulted in extensive waterlogging in the Bajal underpass giving tough time to motorists and pedestrians alike.

Though this problem is nothing new and has been recurring every year whenever it rains heavily, the sad part of the story is that the authorities have not taken any step to avert such  waterlogging in such an important location.

City Corporation Commissioner C L Anand visited the place to take stock of the situation.
