Hijab row : We will fight for justice, say Muslim girl students

Mangaluru, June 03, 2022: We will fight for Hijab justice and will not lose hope, said  three students of the University College in Mangaluru.

Speaking to media persons at Press Club on Friday on behalf of the  Students Co-ordination Committee, Gausiya said the College Principal had sent a WhatsApp message stating Hijab is not permitted in classes. She further said as she has not given any official statement, her WhatsApp message cannot be adhered to.

She said  some students have also begun wearing saffron shawls and added that some take their photos and videos and also pick up quarrel for no reason.
