Honey bee attack injures many people in a village near Dharmasthala

Belthangady, February 26, 2025: Several people were hospitalized after they were attacked by a swarm of honey bees at Ajikuri in Dharmasthala village on Wednesday morning.

Even people inside the house were stung by the bees. The swarm of bees which began to attack people at around 8 am, later once again stung people at 10 am. Bees are seen flying all around the village and people are terrified to come out of their houses.

Forest Department personnel have visited the village.
