House burglary: Thieves decamp with cash, gold worth Rs 3.5 lakhs

Bantwal, September 14, 2024: Thieves who broke into a house in Pudu village by breaking open the front door locks have decamped with valuables and cash worth Rs 3.54 lakhs.

The theft occurred in the house of Mohammad Iqbal. He along with his wife had left to a relative’s house in Bengaluru on September 8. The theft came to light after they returned home on September 12. The house was found ransacked. Cash of Rs 1.70 lakhs and gold weighing 36 grams has been reported stolen.
