House burgled when family visited mosque on Id Milad day

Bantwal, September 18, 2024: Thieves who broke into a house at Monthimaru in Manchi village on September 16 when the family members had been to the mosque on Id Milad day, have decamped with cash and valuables.

The theft took place in the residence of Asma. The family had been to the mosque to watch cultural events  and returned at around midnight when the theft came to light.

The thieves had broken the window rods on the backside of the house and had made their way into the house. Gold worth Rs 1.33 lakhs and cash have been reported stolen.
