Huge tree falls on road on Maani-Mysuru Highway

Sullia, June 26, 2024: Traffic on the Maani-Mysore Highway was affected after a huge tree fell on the road at Elpakaje in Aranthodu village during the wee hours of June 26, Wednesday.

The tree fell at around 3 am and later the locals alerted the authorities following which a crane was brought to remove the tree branches from the road. In the meantime, the tyres of a speeding lorry got stuck in the slush. Locals assisted the driver of the lorry.
