I am pained, says Veerendra Heggade

Dharmasthala, Oct 16, 2013: ‘I am pained by the allegation levelled against myself family members and devotees of Dharmasthala. I will place the same before the feet of Annapa Swamy and Lord Manjunaatha and the Lord will provide justice” said Dharmasthala Dharmadikari D Veerendra Heggade.

Addressing media persons at Vasanth Mahal here on Tuesday, he said that he has been serving the devotees as Dhamadhikari for the last 45 years and for the first time, somebody has hurt him. He was referring to the allegations made against him by a private channel. 

Referring to the Saujanya murder case, he said that as soon as he learnt about the incident, he had called the then state home minister to take action against the culprits.

“ I had also informed the then district –in-charge minister C T Ravi and had consoled Saujanya’s parents” he said. 

Alleging that Nagarika Seva Trust, Hindu leader Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi and Kemar Mutt seer have linked saujanya murder case with Dharmasthala, Heggade said that it is the duty of the police department to investigate the murder case and he would not interfere in it.

“Will seek legal action “ 

Sating that his brother Harshendra Kumar’s Son Nischal Kumar is in the US, Hegade said that Nichal’s name has been unnecessarily dragged in the issue. Heggade also said that legal action will be inititated against the miscreants. 

Referring to the allegations that there is no transparency in the administration of Dharmasthala, Heggade said that the transparency will be doubled following the allegations.

Appealing devotees not to get hurt following the allegations made by the private Chanel, he said that the sanctity of Dharmasthala will not be affected in any way.

Answering allegations made by the parents of Saujanya that the SDM College (Where she was studying) has not paid the insurance amount due to them, College Principal Dr B Yashoverma said that the delay was due to non –submission of post mortem report and death certificate, by Saujany’a parents.

 Mega convention today 

Meanwhile, a mega convection has been planned at Ratnaverma Heggade ground on Wednesday at 3 pm, in which Dharmadikari D Veerendra Heggade would address the gathering .
