ICYM Kinnigoli unit organises blood donation camp

Kinnigoli, Dec 13, 2021: Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) unit of Kinnigoli Deanery in collaboration with Lions Club Muchur-Neerude, Red Drop Mangalore and Fr Mullers Hospital, Mangalore organized a blood donation camp at Kinnigoli Church Hall on Sunday, 12 December.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The camp was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Monsignor Fr Maxim Noronha in the presence of Fr William, Dr Anusha, doctor of Fr Mullers Hospital, Rajendra Pinto, President of Lions Club Muchur-Neerude, Shaila Sequeira, Vice President of Kinnigoli Church and Caroline Balkunje and Criston Kinnigoli President and Secretary respectively of ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery.

Addressing the gathering, Monsignor Fr Maxim Noronha spoke on the importance of blood donation. “Blood donation is the most noble donation among all other donations,” he said and encouraged the youth and young stars to donate blood.

‘A gift straight from your heart’ was the theme for the campaign.  50 volunteers donated blood, which was collected under the banner of Red Drop Blood Bank of ICYM Mangalore Diocese.
