Interpol Arrests Notorious Criminal Bannanje Raja

The Interpol has arrested the notorious criminal Udupi Bannanje Raja alias Rajendra Kumar (RK), who was wanted for more than 26 cases of robbery, murder, and break in. He was on his way to Malaysia from Dubai when the CBI closed in on him. 

Bannaje Raja began his career as a bus agent. Later, he moved to Bangalore and got involved in a shoot-out case, which led from one crime to the other. He is known in Bangalore for various criminal activities such as extortion, making life threats, hafta collection, as well as a couple of murders. 

Bannanje Raja will be transferred to the Mumbai Police. The IGP of West Zone Gopal Hosur said that a letter will be written to the CBI, requesting them to transfer Bannaje Raja to the Mumbai Police for further interrogation.
