JD (S) confident of doubling its seats these polls

Mangalore, Dec 26: H. D. Kumaraswamy, the former chief minister and state president of the JD (S), expressed his confidence of the party winning double the number of seats won in previous polls in the TP and ZP elections, which are just around the corner. He was speaking to reporters just before the commencement of his public meeting at Deralakatte on Dec 26, Sunday.

 

 

 

Explaining his statement further, he said that the JD (S) is confident of this twofold rise in seat number because it is the party that exposed the corrupt activities of the BJP government. The Congress, which has failed to be a strong opposition, had transferred this responsibility to the JD (S), he said.

Reacting on Bangarappa’s recent induction in the JD (S), he said that this simply illustrates the fact that political leaders as well as people are placing their hopes in JD (S).
