Jewellery worth Rs 67 lakhs stolen from woman’s hand bag in KSRTC bus

Mangaluru, July 2, 2024: A woman has lodged a complaint with the Urwa police regarding the theft of  jewellery worth Rs 67.75 lakhs from her hand bag while travelling in a KSRTC Airavatha bus.

The woman was travelling in the bus to  Bengaluru for a family function with the jewellery in her handbag. However when she checked the bag when the bus reached Hassan, she found the valuables missing. She in her complaint has expressed suspicion over a middle aged woman who was seated beside her in the bus.
