Juma Masjid to celebrate Id Milad

Mangaluru, Nov 30, 2017: On the account of Id Milad, the Kuluru Mohiyuddin Juma Masjid, Panjimogaru, will conduct various programmes from November 30 to December 2.

 

Addressing media here on Nov 29,  Wednesday, Jamat secretary Shekabba K said that a religious discourse will be delivered by Bashir Madani Al Khamil on Nov 30,  Thursday night.

Burdha Majlis, Juma Namaj, flag hoisting, Maulid recitation, Mugrib Namaz and religious programmes by the students of Sirajul Huda Madrasa will be held on Dec 1, Friday.

A duff procession will be held from Kavoor Badriya Masjid premises to Mohiyuddin Juma Masjid on December 2 from 8 am onwards.

Religious stage function will be held at 1 pm. Jamat president Sharif K M will preside. Honourary president K Abdul Khader, MLA B A Mohiuddin Bava and others will be present.

Jamat president Sarif K M, vice president Muhammed Hanif and joint secretaries Hakim K I and Rafique were present.

Milad Jatha in Ullal on Dec 1 :  Seyyad Madani Mohalla Okkuta, Ullal, will conduct a Miladunnabi jatha from Juma Masjid, Alekala to Ullal Dargah at 6.30 am on Decemeber , reports DHNS from Mangaluru.

Addressing media in Mangaluru, Seyyad Madani Mohalla Okkuta president P S Shihabuddin Sakhafi Al Kamil said that from Juma Masjid, the jatha will move on to Manchila, Thikkottu Olapete, Akkarekere, Mastikatte and Melangadi Darga before reaching Ullal Dargah.

He further said that the administrative committee of the Ullal Dargah has not been respecting the decision of the Khazi. The administrative committee has been discriminating against mohallas by withholding the right to the monthly income of mohallas from the past six months. Therefore, the Mohalla committee will not support the jatha conducted by the Dargah.

Ullal Dargah Administrative Committee former president U S Hamza and DK District Wakf Advisory committee member Altaf Kumpala among others were present.
