KSRTC bus overturns near Bantwal, minor injuries reported

Mangaluru, September 23, 2024: A KSRTC bus traveling from Mangaluru to Dharmasthala overturned near Koppal, close to Vagga, on the evening of Monday, September 23, after the driver lost control.

Several passengers sustained minor injuries, and local youths quickly responded to rescue them from the overturned vehicle.

The bus, part of the Mangaluru division, veered off the road and fell into a roadside ditch. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined. Authorities are investigating the incident.
