Kadaba: Cops, firemen rescue young man who jumped into Kumaradhara river

Kadaba, July 8, 2024: A young man who had jumped into the Kumaradhara river at Pulikukku in an attempt to end life, but had got stuck amid bushes in the middle of the river, has been rescued by police and fire service personnel. The youth was screaming for help on Monday morning after he got stuck in the middle of the river.

Locals then alerted the police and fire service personnel who rushed to the spot and managed to rescue him.

Earlier, a bag belonging to the young man was found in a bus shelter nearby. He is said to be from Bengaluru and has been taken to Kadaba Community Health Centre.

The reason behind his suicide attempt is yet to be known.
