Kadaba: Fire mishap in house causes extensive damage

Kadaba, July 1, 2024: A house at Kemmara in Koila village suffered extensive damage due to a fire mishap on Sunday afternoon. A short circuit is learnt to be the cause of the fire.

The house belonged to Abdul Rahiman and was built just a year ago. Only the aged mother of Abdul was at home when the mishap occurred. As soon as smoke was noticed, she had alerted neighbours. However by the time the fire was doused, it had caused much damage. Even walls have developed cracks and almost all furniture have been destroyed and even floor tiles have been damaged.

The loss has been estimated at Rs 35 lakhs.
