Kadaba, July 23, 2022: Kadaba Police have registered cases against four persons belonging to a Sangh Parivar organisation on the charges of barging into a house and creating a ruckus over the issue of a young girl visiting her female friend belonging to another community at her house.
The accused are Sudarshan Gelgody, Prashanth Kolya, Tammu Kalkadi and Prasad Kolya.
Uppinangady Ramanagar resident Kavya along with her friend Samsheena had been to the latter’s house in an autorickshaw. A local autorickshaw driver Sudarshan who noticed them going in an auto told others that Samsheena’s brother Ziyad had taken a Hindu girl along with him. When many learnt about this, some Parivar activists reportedly barged into Samsheena’s house at Kudlur and created a ruckus.
Though the issue was then settled through talks by the police, later following alleged threats to Ziyad by some youth, Samsheena lodged a complaint at Kadaba police station.
