Kangilu dance of Udupi students attracts attention at R-Day parade

Udupi, Jan 27, 2022: The Kangilu dance of the 14 member team of MGM and Poorna Prajna Colleges of Udupi at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on January 26, Wednesday, has garnered a lot of attention and praise.

 

Nidhita Shetty, Anisha Shetty, Sharone Vivena Maben, Deepashree, Chirag G Kotian, Varun B Kotian, Sheejal Poojary, Bhavana Parameshwar Gaonkar of Poorna Prajna College,  Ankit U Nayak, Akash S Prabhu, Bhagyashree H, Ashwini G Suvarna, Vradhika Malarani Ermal and Harshith Kumar from  MGM College were in the Kangilu dance team.

It is noteworthy here that the students got selected through the various selection committees through their own efforts. They also  managed the expenses of the visit by themselves and with the help of a few others.
