Karkala: 11 arrested for gambling

Karkala, October 15, 2024: Karkala police have arrested 11 persons on the charges of gambling inside an under construction building in front of the government hospital in the town.

Those arrested are Manjunatha (30) of Kumta, Srinivas (50) of Moodaru, Muttanna (21) of Karkala, Nagaraj Uppara (47), Lakshman Hema, Yamanurappa, Heman and Mallayya.

Police seized a cash of Rs 4950 from them. A case has been registered in Karkala town police station.
